Kevin Sean Michaels is best-known as an award-winning filmmaker. Michaels began his filmmaking career with his first feature film, the documentary “Vampira: The Movie,” which won the Rondo Hatton Classic Horror Award for Best Independent Film in 2008, distributed by Alpha New Cinema. This film was followed up by “The Wild World of Ted V. Mikels.” Michaels’s short, “Ingrid Pitt: Beyond The Forest” was animated by 11-year-old artist Perry Chen and “The Namazu,” an animated short by Dani Bowman, a teenager with Autism. Michaels co-produced with director David Lynch (“Twin Peaks”) the film, “Beyond The Noise: My Transcendental Meditation Journey.” Michaels is currently presenting screenings of the documentary “Kaufmania!” about the fans of late comedian Andy Kaufman.
